According to reports, the Mukesh Ambani-led company plans to open 2,000 exclusive outlets - Digital Xpress Mini - in the current fiscal year for its telecom services, smartphones, tablets and also accessories of other brands.
These stores will be selling the upcoming services of Reliance Jio Infocomm. Reliance Jio plans to provide, later this year, mobile phones and fourth-generation high-speed internet services.
As many as 2,99,000 shares have changed hands on the Bombay Stock Exchange in today's intraday trade as compared to its two-week average of 4,56,000 shares.
