RIL m-cap tops Oracle, Chevron & Unilever

Reliance raised a total of 2.13 lakh crore in the last three months through rights Issue, the combined investments in Jio Platforms, and investment by BP.

Reliance Industries (RIL) hit another milestone on the bourses on Wednesday with the stock price crossing Rs 2,000 while its market capitalisation hit Rs 13 lakh crore, both for the first time. RIL is now world’s 48th largest company by marke- cap, ahead of Abbott Labs, Oracle, Chevron and Unilever. The company has added $15 billion to its market-cap in the last 15 days. Reliance fully paid-up shares ended at 2004 up 1.64% on Wednesday while its partly paid shares closed at Rs 1,100. Reliance raised a total of Rs 2.13 lakh crore in the last three months through rights Issue, the combined investments in Jio Platforms, and investment by BP.
