Shares of Reliance Power gained momentum on Monday after the company began coal production at Sasan mines.

MUMBAI Shares of Reliance Power gained momentum on Monday after the company began coal production at Sasan mines. The power from Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project will be supplied to 7 states.

According to the company, the production at the mines has commenced ahead of the schedule and it is aiming to reach production capacity of 20 million tonne per annum in four years.

At 02:20 pm, the stock was at Rs 78.35, up 2.82 per cent, on the NSE. It has touched a high of Rs 78.55 and a low of Rs 75.60 in trade today.
