MUMBAI: Shares in Anil Ambani-led Reliance Natural Resources and Reliance Power rose more than 4 per cent each on Friday on market talk the two firms may be merged, dealers said.
A spokeswoman for Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group declined to comment when contacted by Reuters.
At 2:02 pm, the Reliance Natural and Reliance Power were up 4 per cent and 4.3 per cent respectively, while the main stock index was trading 0.2 per cent higher.
