Reliance Communications, Adani Enterprises to trade in Nifty Midcap F&O from Nov 30

Reliance Communications and Adani Enterprises will be included in the future and options segment of the NSE's Nifty Midcap 50 index, replacing Mphasis and Piramal Enterprises from November 30.

MUMBAI: Reliance Communications and Adani Enterprises will be included in the future and options segment of the NSE's Nifty Midcap 50 index, replacing Mphasis and Piramal Enterprises from November 30.

As per the changes announced today by India Index Services & Products Ltd (IISL), an National Stock Exchange-Crisil joint venture, IT firm Mphasis and diversified business firm Piramal Enterprises would be excluded from the derivative segment of Nifty Midcap 50 index with effect from November 30, 2012.

In their place, Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of Adani Group, and Anil Ambani group-firm Reliance Communications, would be included in the index, IISL said in a statement.

The changes were decided by its Index Maintenance Sub-Committee during a periodic review.
