Rekha Jhunjhunwala sells 25 lakh shares in this company

NEW DELHI: Ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s wife Rekha Rakesh Jhunjhunwala sold 25 lakh shares in Delta Corp on November 7 at Rs 280.35 per share.

According to bulk deals data available with the NSE, Aarti J Mody Trust also sold 36.40 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 280.39 per share.

Reacting to the same, shares of Delta Corp were trading over 4 per cent down at Rs 269.35 on Wednesday around 3 pm (IST). The scrip opened at Rs 274.10 and touched a high and low of Rs 285.80 and Rs 268.15, respectively, in trade so far. Benchmark NSE Nifty index was down 58.55 points, or 0.57 per cent, at around the same time.

For the latest quarter ended September 30, 2017, the company reported a net profit of Rs 43.26 crore, up 34 per cent, against Rs 32.25 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Gross income from operations jumped to Rs 187.86 crore, up 34.79 per cent, against Rs 139.37 crore during the same period.

Delta Corp is engaged in the operation of casino. Its segments include real estate, gaming, hospitality and others.

Shares of the company had hit 52-week high of Rs 291.35 on November 7, 2017 and 52-week low of Rs 94.85 on December 27, 2016.
