REC Ltd. shares rise 0.7% as Sensex slides

Shares of the REC Ltd. traded at Rs 108.2 on BSE at 10:41AM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.7 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 79.0 and a high of Rs 169.55.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.


A total of 141,368 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 10:41AM (IST).

The stock of REC Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 21447.61 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 3.73, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.62. Return on equity (ROE) was at 16.61 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 249 stocks traded in the green, while 247 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 52.63 per cent in the REC Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2020 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 26.99 per cent and 8.82 per cent, respectively.
