REC Ltd. shares decline 0.67% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the REC Ltd. traded at Rs 110.55 on BSE at 01:48PM (IST) on Wednesday, down 0.67 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 79.0 and a high of Rs 157.25.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 94,140 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:48PM (IST).

The stock of REC Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 21891.97 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 4.12, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.62. Return on equity (ROE) was at 14.04 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 338 stocks traded in the green, while 162 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 52.63 per cent in the REC Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2020 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 26.59 per cent and 9.3 per cent, respectively.
