Realty shares shine on lacklustre day; DLF, Unitech zoom

The NSE Nifty Realty was trading 1.17 per cent up at 255.2 in an otherwise weak trading session.

While Housing Development & Infrastructure Ltd. (down 3.15 per cent), Delta Corp Ltd. (down 0.26 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd. (down 0.35 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd. (down 0.44 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd. (down 0.78 per cent) were among top losers in the index at around the same time.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 20.30 points at 9,626.95 .

Among the 51 stocks in Nifty index, 17 were trading in green, while 34 were in red.

Shares of NHPC, Vedanta Ltd, SBI, ITC and DLF were among most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange on Friday.

BSE Sensex was 74.89 points at 31,138.47.

Traders were seen piling up positions in beverages nonalcoholic, leather, retail, shipping, infrastructure sectors. However, selling were visible in aquaculture, glass, packaging, gems and jewellery, rubber sectors.
