Ravi Kumar Distilleries climbs 34% in trading debut

Ravi Kumar Distilleries Ltd., a maker of alcoholic beverages, climbed as much as 34 percent on its trading debut in Mumbai today.

The shares started trading at 79 rupees and changed hands at 81.7 rupees at 9:15 a.m. local time. Shares of the Puducherry, south India-based company were sold at 64 rupees each in an initial share sale earlier this month.
