Ranbaxy, Strides surges on Tamiflu order
Pharmaceutical companies Ranbaxy Laboratories and Strides Arcolab rose more than 2 per cent after they got government orders to supply the generic version of Roche's anti-viral, Tamiflu, used to treat the H1N1 flu.

MUMBAI: Pharmaceutical companies Ranbaxy Laboratories and Strides Arcolab rose more than 2 per cent after they got government orders to supply the generic version of Roche's anti-viral, Tamiflu, used to treat the H1N1 flu.
Strides bagged the biggest order to supply 7.4 million capsules while Ranbaxy will supply 900,000 capsules initially.
Shares of Ranbaxy were trading at Rs 321.75, up 0.67 per cent while Strides Arcolab rose 2.49 per cent to Rs 156.50 on the BSE.
