Ramco Systems, Tata Metaliks surge over 5%

NEW DELHI: Ramco Systems and Tata Metaliks were among the stocks that were shining in Thursday's session.

Shares of Texmo Pipe Prod (up 5.04 per cent), Texmaco Rail (up 5.11 per cent), Man Infracons (up 5.13 per cent), BF Utilities (up 5.16 per cent), Bharat Rasayan (up 5.22 per cent), Asahi Songwon (up 5.36 per cent), Tata Metaliks (up 5.38 per cent), Universal Cable (up 5.42 per cent), Ramco Systems (up 5.48 per cent), Unitech (up 5.50 per cent), Thirumalai Chem (up 5.51 per cent) and Apar Industries (up 5.57 per cent) were trading over 5 per cent higher around 12.40 pm (IST).

In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as Adani Ports SEZ (up 4.24 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 1.10 per cent), IndusInd Bank (up 1.05 per cent), Zee Entertainment (up 1.02 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 0.93 per cent), SBI (up 0.88 per cent), TCS (up 0.72 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (up 0.68 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (up 0.56 per cent), M&M up 0.51 per cent), Sun Pharma (up 0.49 per cent), and RIL (up 0.47 per cent) were trading higher around 12.35 pm (IST).

The Nifty 50 index was up 9.45 points at 9,153.25. Among the 51 components in Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 48.18 points higher at 29,579.61 in the afternoon trade on Thursday.
