Ramco Systems surges 11% on multi-million dollar deal
NEW DELHI: Shares of Ramco Systems advanced over 11 per cent intraday on Wednesday after the company informed bourses that it has signed a multi-million dollar cloud HR and payroll transformation deal with the Panasonic Group in Malaysia.

The scrip was trading 9.59 per cent up at Rs 381.20 around 12.20 pm (IST). Shares of the company opened at Rs 348.60 and touched a high and low of Rs 386.50 and Rs 346.50, respectively, in trade so far. Benchmark BSE Sensex was trading almost flat at 26,633 around the same time.

In a regulatory filing, the company said: “Panasonic Group of companies in Malaysia has signed a multi-million-dollar strategic deal with Ramco Systems Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia part of India-headquartered HR software major Ramco Systems to digitise and transform HR and Payroll operations for nearly 20,000 employees nationwide on a unified platform.”

Ramco System’s Human Capital Management (HCM) solution will integrate with multiple enterprise applications and finance systems in individual companies for statutory and payroll requirements.
