RailTel shares in focus after securing Rs 103 crore work orders from Nashik, Panvel municipal bodies
RailTel received two major project orders worth ₹103.46 crore from Nashik Smart City and Panvel Municipal Corporation for smart city and connectivity infrastructure projects aligned with its core services.

The combined value of the contracts stands at Rs 103.46 crore, with one awarded by the Nashik Municipal Smart City Development Corporation Ltd and the other by the Panvel Municipal Corporation.
These orders pertain to smart city and connectivity infrastructure projects and fall within RailTel’s core service domains.
Nashik Smart City work order worth Rs 70.94 crore
RailTel has been appointed as the implementation agency for a project awarded by the Nashik Municipal Corporation for Smart City Development.
The scope includes the supply, laying, installation, testing, and commissioning of network infrastructure in Nashik and Trimbakeshwar, along with operations and maintenance services. The order is valued at Rs 70.94 crore (excluding tax).
Panvel Safe City Connectivity order valued at Rs 32.51 crore
The second order, valued at Rs 32.51 crore (inclusive of tax), has been awarded by the Panvel Municipal Corporation. RailTel will be responsible for supplying, installing, and maintaining SDWAN-based connectivity solutions, including Internet Lease Line and MPLS Line setups, for the Panvel Safe City Project.
This order falls under RailTel’s ICT and broadband services vertical and supports a city-level initiative focused on urban safety and digital infrastructure.
The project has a longer execution window, running through the next few years, and expands the company’s municipal-level project base within Maharashtra.
