Radico Khaitan in demand on stake sale buzz

MUMBAI: Shares of Radico Khaitan were in the limelight on Wednesday on media reports that the company is looking to sell about 26 percent stake in the firm to global liquor makers.

According to the report, the Lalit Khaitan family has approached global drinking giants keen on a stake in Radico, adding it could attract early interests from Bacardi and Pernod Ricard.

The founders were open on structuring of the deal and the price discovery process was still on, the paper added.

At 11:15 am, the stock eased some early gains and was trading up 2.58 per cent at Rs 73.45, after touching a high of Rs 74.50.
