He held a 67% stake as of June 30, 2026, valued at more than Rs 1.7 lakh crore, according to Trendlyne data. The stock has fallen over 2% in the past month but is up 6% in 2026 so far. It has declined more than 16% in one year, while gaining 10.5% in three years and over 6% in five years.

Damani and his family acquired around a 2.4% stake in NBFC Sundaram Finance, worth Rs 1,184 crore, during the April-June quarter of FY27, according to Trendlyne data. The stock has gained over 1% in the past month but is down more than 15% in 2026 so far. It has gained 73% in three years and 78% in five years.
