Radhakishan Damani completes 1% stake sale in Avenue Supermarts

MUMBAI: Avenue Supermarts on Thursday said promoter Radhakishan Damani has completed sale of 62.4 lakh shares of the company between Monday and Thursday of this week. The shares sold constitute 1 per cent of the paidup equity share capital of the company, the company said in an exchange notice. Axis Capital arranged the transaction.

Bulk deal data from BSE showed Damani had sold 47.3 lakh shares or 0.8 per cent stake in Avenue Supermarts on Thursday at Rs 1,360.2 per share. The buyer’s name could not be ascertained immediately. Shares of Avenue Supermarts, which operates the D-Mart stores, ended up 3.34 per cent at Rs 1,404.20 on Thursday.
