R Power, Shriram EPC among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 18 shares were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 197.24 points down at 36,773.85 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Shares of Goenka Diamond (up 20 per cent), Airo Lam (up 20.00 per cent), Oriental Trimex (up 19.72 per cent), JIK Industries (up 16.67 per cent), Times Guaranty (up 14.97 per cent), Shriram EPC (up 13.29 per cent) and Kshitij Polyline (up 11.58 per cent) were among the top performers.
Reliance Power (up 12.06 per cent) and Ind Bank Housing (up 8.77 per cent) too were trading 8-12 per cent higher at around the same time.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 53.95 points down at 11,015.45.
