Motilal Oswal Financial Services expects a bounceback in the IT sec tor on the grounds that it is on the cusp of a recovery after a period of discretionary spending cuts.

HCL Technologies, LTI Mindtree and Persistent Systems are the bro kerage’s top picks in the sector, even as it upgraded Coforge to ‘Buy’.

“As we look ahead to the next 2-4 years, the harsh winter appears to be behind us, and the foundations for a sustained revival in the flow of business and smaller deals are being laid,” said analysts at Motilal Oswal Financial Services in a note.
