Punjab National Bank shares decline 2.48% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Punjab National Bank traded at Rs 33.45 on BSE at 12:25PM (IST) on Friday, down 2.48 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 26.3 and a high of Rs 70.25.

Earlier, the stock saw a opening in the morning.


A total of 430,953 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 12:25PM (IST).

The stock of Punjab National Bank commands a market value of Rs 31478.56 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 71.8, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 0.34. Return on equity (ROE) was at -22.82 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 109 stocks traded in the green, while 391 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 85.59 per cent in the Punjab National Bank as of 30-Jun-2020 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 1.0 per cent and 2.0 per cent, respectively.
