PTC India gains on getting Rs 778 cr as dues from UP Power

MUMBAI: Shares of PTC India moved higher in trade after the company got Rs 778 crore as outstanding dues against sale of power to UP Power Corporation.

At 10:05 a.m.; the stock was at Rs 52.55, up 4.06 per cent, on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 54.15 and a low of Rs 52.10 in trade today.

It touched a 52-week high of Rs 81.25 on 22 January 2013 and a 52-week low of Rs 34.70 on 5 August 2013.

The small-cap company has a market cap of Rs 1,495 crore. The share of face value Rs 10 is available at EPS (TTM) of Rs 4.50 and P/E of 11.62x.

The company reported a net profit of Rs 29.67 crore and total income to Rs 2778.57 crore in Q1 June 2013.
