Promoters of drugmaker Cipla are expected to offload 2.53% of their stake in a block deal worth Rs 2637 crore on Wednesday, according to sources.

Members of the Hamied Family and Okasa Pharma will be sellers in this deal.

The promoter holding in the company was 33.4% as of March 2024.


Shares may be sold in a price range of Rs 1289.5- Rs 1357.35, with a maximum discount of 5%. Shares of Cipla ended at Rs 1358.2 on the NSE on Tuesday, down 4% over the previous close. Kotak Securities is the sole broker of this block deal.
