Priority Jewels shares made their D-Street debut on Friday, September 4, listing at a premium of 15% over the issue price. The stock opened at Rs 230 apiece, up 15% from the IPO price of Rs 200. On the BSE, Priority Jewels shares debuted at Rs 252.20 apiece, marking a 26.10% premium.

The listing was broadly in line with unlisted market expectations. The stock’s grey market premium (GMP) stood at around Rs 28 per share ahead of the listing. Based on the GMP, the stock was estimated to list at around Rs 228, compared with the IPO price of Rs 200, implying a potential gain of nearly 14%.

The Rs 91.5-crore IPO opened for subscription on August 28 and closed on September 1. The retail portion was subscribed 106.76 times, while non-institutional investors (NIIs) subscribed 166.49 times and qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) subscribed 39.87 times.


The issue consisted entirely of a fresh issue of 46 lakh shares, with the price band set at Rs 190–200 per share. The IPO lot size was 75 shares, translating into a minimum investment of Rs 15,000 at the upper end of the price band.

Prior to the IPO, Priority Jewels raised Rs 27.45 crore from anchor investors by allotting 13.72 lakh shares at Rs 200 per share.

IPO Objects of the Issue

Priority Jewels plans to use the IPO proceeds primarily to repay or pre-pay, fully or partly, certain borrowings availed by the company. An estimated Rs 75 crore has been earmarked for this purpose. The remaining proceeds will be utilised for general corporate purposes, with the total amount allocated to the issue objects standing at Rs 75 crore.

Financial Performance

Priority Jewels Ltd. reported a 24% increase in total income, rising from Rs 435.87 crore in FY25 to Rs 539.03 crore in FY26. Profitability also improved significantly, with profit after tax (PAT) jumping 68% from Rs 10.51 crore in FY25 to Rs 17.65 crore in FY26.
