MUMBAI: Shares of Premier Explosives surged over 5 per cent in intraday trade as the company received Industrial Licenses from the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), for manufacturing of certain ammunition.

The stock ended the day in green, up 2.80 per cent or Rs 6.70 at Rs 246.2.

These include ammunition of 40 mm and above caliber, rockets and missiles, cartridge explosives, mines related to defence and bombs at Katepally, Yadagirigutta Mandal, District-Nalgonda, in the State of Telangana.
