Analysts say immediate bias in the index continues to remain down and only a formation of higher high and higher low on a sustained basis in the daily chart will signal a pause in the current down trend.
STATE OF THE MARKETS
GIFT Nifty (Earlier SGX Nifty) signals a negative startGIFT Nifty on the NSE IX traded lower by 99.5 points, or 0.42 per cent, at 23,360.5, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a negative start on Friday.
Tech View: On the lower end, immediate support is placed in the 23,380–23,400 zone. On the higher end, resistance is placed at 23,550–23,600. A sustained move above 23,600 could extend the recovery towards 23,800.
India VIX: India VIX, which is a measure of the fear in the markets, was fell 1.05% to settle at 11.80.
Asian shares fall
