STATE OF THE MARKETS
GIFT Nifty (Earlier SGX Nifty) signals a muted startGIFT Nifty on the NSE IX traded higher by 29.5 points, or 0.12 per cent, at 24,210, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a muted start on Wednesday.
Tech View: Overall sentiment might favour the bears as the index continues to lose bullish momentum. On the lower end, the fall might extend towards 24050–24000, where initial support is likely to emerge. On the other hand, resistance is visible at 24240.
India VIX: India VIX, which is a measure of the fear in the markets, rose 0.6% to settle at 11.39 levels.
Asian stocks fall
