Shares of Power Mech Projects gained nearly 3% on Tuesday to day’s high of Rs 2,441 on NSE after the company announced that it has secured an order from Telangana Power Generation Corporation worth Rs 279.20 crore, including all provisions and excluding GST.

According to a filing with the exchange, the company said that the scope of work includes comprehensive operation & maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical, C&I) and up keeping work package for Ash handling Plant of Stage-I (Unit No.1 & 2) & Stage-II (Unit No.3, 4 & 5) and complete Coal handling plant of YTPS (5X800 MW).

The broad consideration or size of the order is Rs 279.20 crore, including all provisions and excluding GST with price variation clause (PVC) applicable for second and third year. The nature of order or contract is operations and maintenance.

The order or contract has been awarded by a domestic entity and the time period by which the order or contract needs to be executed is for a period of three years from the date of issuance of LOI/ Order confirmation.

According to an investor presentation by the company, the record order inflows of Rs 3,113 crore in FY27 year-to-date, including Rs 970 crore comprehensive O&M order and Rs 855 crore infrastructure construction order, was driven by major wins across O&M, civil and metro/railway projects.

The company further said that its revenue grew nearly 3.2x over five years (17%+ CAGR) alongside a 67 basis points expansion in EBITDA margins over the last five years.

The Rs 17,317 crore order book (excl. MDO) covers 2.5+ years of revenue, with further margin expansion expected via capital discipline and profitable growth in MDO and O&M segments, the company further said.

Earlier this month, the company had secured an order from Vedanta Power worth Rs 970 crore. This project is to be executed within 60 months from the date of issuance of LOI/order confirmation.

This Rs 970 crore order was given for end-to-end basis operations and maintenance contract at 2x600 MW at Vedanta Power Limited’s Sakti Thermal Plant, Chhattisgarh Coal based Thermal Power Plant, situated at village Singhitarai, Sakti (Distr), Chhattisgarh.

Power Mech Projects share price

In the last one month, the shares of Power Mech Projects were down over 6%. However, in the current calendar year so far, the stock has gained over 5%. The stock declined 10% in the last one year.

In the last three years and five years, the shares of Power Mech Projects gained 14.70% and 416% respectively.
