Polaris surges on strong Q4 results
Shares of Polaris Software were in demand after the IT firm's impressive performance in the fourth quarter.
For the year ended March 31, 2009, the company recorded a stunning 79 per cent growth in profit to Rs 130.71 crore from Rs 73.22 crore last fiscal. Income grew by 25 per cent to Rs 1377.95 crore from Rs 1099.30 crore. Operating profit margins grew by 91 per cent to Rs 61.80 crore from Rs 32.31 crore.
The company has also declared a final dividend of 25 per cent of the paid-up capital from FY09.
At 2:45 pm, the stock was up 6.37 per cent to Rs 64.25 on the BSE.
