PM Modi meets Zerodha founders Nithin and Nikhil Kamath

Zerodha co-founders Nithin and Nikhil Kamath met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Aero India 2023 show in Bengaluru on Monday. Meanwhile, the meeting inspired Nitin Kamath to set a new fitness goal, and he said he wants to operate at PM Modi's intensity at the age of 72.

"It was an honour to meet our PM Narendra Modi. My new health & fitness goal is to be able to operate at his intensity when I am 72. He spent almost 30 mins late in the night interacting with Nikhil Kamath & me, despite all his meetings & travels through the day," Nithin Kamath said during the Aero India 2023 show in Bengaluru.



After meeting PM Modi, Nikhil Kamath - co-founder of Zerodha, also tweeted, "Thank you, Sir Narendra Modi, for spending so much time with me and Nithin on a Sunday at 9 pm. All arguments and biases aside, no one can contest India has had a great decade, likely our best one yet at scale."


The 14th edition of Asia's largest aero show, Aero India 2023, kicks off in Bengaluru on Monday. The five-day event will focus on displaying indigenous equipment/technologies and forging partnerships with foreign companies.
The theme of Aero India 2023 is "The Runway to a Billion Opportunities".

"Prime Minister's emphasis on Aatmanirbharta in the Indian Defence sector will also be displayed, as the event will showcase the country's progress in design leadership, growth in UAVs Sector, Defence Space and futuristic technologies. Further, the event will promote the export of indigenous air platforms like Light Combat Aircraft (LCA)-Tejas, HTT-40, Dornier Light Utility Helicopter (LUH), Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) and Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH)," the PMO said in a statement.

The event will also help in integrating domestic MSMEs and start-ups in the global supply chain and attract foreign investments, including partnerships for co-development and co-production.
