MUMBAI: Shares of Phoenix Mills surged as much as 12 per cent on Monday after a block deal was struck in the counter.

Around 3.44 million shares, or 2.37 per cent of its equity, changed hands in a block deal on the Bombay Stock Exchange.

At 10:25 am, shares of the company were trading at Rs 128.70, higher by 8.84 per cent on the BSE. The stock surged to a high of Rs 133 in early trade.
