PC Jeweller, Corporation Bank among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 289.06 points up at 36,262.77 on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Manaksia Aluminium Company (up 19.50 per cent), Arambhan Hospitality Services (up 18.74 per cent), Jindal Poly Investment (up 16.97 per cent), Indowind Energy (up 16.28 per cent), Nagreeka Export (up 15.74 per cent), Punjab Communications (up 11.20 per cent), Anjani Portland (up 10.89 per cent), Maithan Alloys (up 10.62 per cent), HB Portfolio (up 10.07 per cent) and Powerhouse Gym & Wellness (up 9.94 per cent) were among the top performers.

PC Jeweller (up 8.98 per cent) and Corporation Bank (up 7.71 per cent) too were trading 7-9 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was trading 76.45 points up at 10,911.75.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 41 shares were trading in the green, while 8 were in the red.
