Patel Engineering, Vadilal among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 149.43 points up at 36,303.05 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Swarnsarita Gems (up 18.29 per cent) , Tejnaksh Healthcare (up 17.55 per cent) , TCI Developers (up 15.80 per cent) , IST (up 15.64 per cent), Caprihans India (up 15.31 per cent), Racl Geartech (up 15.22 per cent) , Shree Ajit Pulp (up 15.19 per cent) , TCI Finance (up 13.91 per cent) , Vadilal Industries (up 12.94 per cent) and Suryaamba Spin (up 12.49 per cent) were among the top performers.

Patel Engineering (up 10.78 per cent) and Lypsa Gems & Jewellery (up 9.21 per cent) too were trading 9-10 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was trading 36.05 points up at 10,867.45.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 27 shares were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
