Parsvnath SEZ enters into MoU with Rajasthan for SEZ

Parsvnath SEZ, a subsidiary of Parsvnath Developers, has signed memorandum of understanding with Rajasthan government to develop 112 acre special economic zone in Jaipur.

MUMBAI: Parsvnath SEZ, a subsidiary of Parsvnath Developers, has signed memorandum of understanding with Rajasthan government to develop 112 acre special economic zone in Jaipur. The SEZ envisages an investment of Rs 1,400 crore and will focus on giving a further boost to the gems and jewellery industry. The project will be completed in 3 years from commencement of construction.

The agreement entails that the state will provide necessary support for infrastructure facilities in SEZ and will also ensure smooth implementation towards the development by providing single window service through the Bureau of Investment Promotion.

It will also help the company to avail various incentives and facilities under various schemes announced by the central government, which will ensure that its development remains on the fast track.

"This is a very significant understanding for Parsvnath Developers as it will help in hastening the process of our commercial activity in Rajasthan. The complete project will generate employment for more than 60,000 persons in the State of Rajasthan." said SN Sharma, Director of Parsvnath SEZ.

At 11:38 am, Parsvnath Developers shares were up 4.82 per cent at Rs 374 on BSE.
