Paribas picks up Rs 2 cr shares in XL Telecom
France's largest bank BNP Paribas has picked up 1.25 lakh shares in Hyderabad-based XL Telecom and Energy Ltd.
BNP Paribas acquired the equity shares in XL Telecom, a telecom and solar photovoltaic systems company, at a price of Rs 172 per share in a bulk deal at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In another deal, another foreign fund Goldman Sachs Investments Mauritius acquired 5.35 lakh equity shares of Mc Nally Bharat at a price of Rs 202 each, aggregating to Rs 10.81 crore.
Meanwhile, foreign institutional funds HSBC Financial Services Middle East and Merrill Lynch Capital Market Espana offloaded shares held by them in Kirloskar Electric Company Ltd and Noida Toll Bridge.
HSBC Financial Services sold over five lakh shares in Kirloskar Electric Company at a price of Rs 240 each, aggregating to Rs 12.27 crore in a bulk deal on the BSE.
While Merrill Lynch Capital Market offloaded 9.73 lakh equity shares in Noida Toll Bridge for Rs 2.54 crore in a separate deal on the BSE.
