Panacea to launch breast cancer drug; stock down

Panacea Biotec is planning to introduce its indigenously developed Albumin bound paclitaxel particles formulation called PacliAll.

MUMBAI: Panacea Biotec is planning to introduce its indigenously developed Albumin bound paclitaxel particles formulation called PacliAll. The drug offers advantage of improved safety over conventional formulations and is meant to be used a chemotherapeutic agent for treatment of breast cancer, the company said in a statement.

The stock was at Rs 176.20, down 2.65 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 183.50 and low of Rs 157.05 in trade so far.
