Reliance Capital, Panacea Biotec and other bulk deals in Tuesday’s trade

Mumbai: Panacea Biotec and Reliance Capital witnessed bulk deals in Tuesday’s trade.

For the day, the 30-share Sensex closed 1.17 per cent or 371.44 points higher at 32,114.52, while the 50-share Nifty rose 1.06 per cent or 98.60 points to close at 9,380.90.

Here’s who bought what in some of the key bulk deals of the day:


>> Asian Agro Industries sold 1,75,000 shares in Asian Hotels (North) for Rs 67.65 each, while Satya Prakash Bagla lapped up 1,75,511 shares in the company at the same rate. The shares closed 1.47 per cent lower at Rs 67.10 a share.

>> Apporva Realtors sold 3,20,136 shares of Panacea Biotec at Rs 202.02 a share. The shares closed 13.84 per cent higher at Rs 199.90 a share.

>> Swapnil Mehta bought 19,49,024 shares of Reliance Capital at Rs 7.55 a share. The shares closed 4.86 per cent higher at Rs 7.55 a share.
