Orient Hotels' promoters pledge over 19.23 lakh shares

NEW DELHI: Orient Hotels Ltd that operates hotels and resorts under the Taj brand today said three of its promoters have pledged 19,23,610 shares aggregating to 1.08 per cent stake in the company.

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said D Lalithamma, D Vijayagopal Reddy and Dodla Sudha Reddy have together pledged shares.

While the firm did not disclose the date of pledging, based on today's closing share price of Rs 30.35 per share on the BSE, it could have fetched them around Rs 6 crore.
