Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals reported standalone net loss of Rs 10.12 crore for quarter ended December 2011 against net profit of Rs 52.56 crore in the same period a year ago.
Net sales were at Rs 463.80 crore as compared to Rs 427.14 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.
The stock was at Rs 172.55, down 9.02 per cent on the NSE.
It touched a high of Rs 194.70 and low of Rs 171.20 in trade so far.
