MUMBAI: The Old Fox of Dalal Street is said to have taken a liking to Hero Honda shares of late, and has been accumulating them at regular intervals.
Things appear far from rosy for the two-wheeler major at the moment, given the stiff competition in the sector, and rising input costs.
Because of the lacklustre performance of the stock, it has fallen off the radar of most fund managers. Old Fox’s logic seems to be that too much pessimism is reflecting in the stock price at current levels. But he is not hoping for any immediate gains, and seems content to play the waiting game.
