NTPC to sell 15% power from Korba,Farakka plants

MUMBAI: The Ministry of Power has allowed National Thermal Power Corporation to sell 15% of power outside long term PPA from Korba Super Thermal Power Project and Farakka Super Thermal Power Project. The balance power will be sold through PPAs to be entered by NTPC with State Power Utilities.

The scrip was subdued at Rs 197.60, down 1.20 or 0.60 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 200.30 and low of Rs 196.60 in trade so far.
