Of the 16 stocks, V-Guard Industries, Can Fin Homes, Bajaj Finserv and Raymond have surged between 40% and 55% so far this year.

NSE to add 16 stocks to F&O segment with effect from April 28
MUMBAI: The National Stock Exchange said on Wednesday it will add 16 stocks to the futures and options segment with effect from 28 April.

Bajaj Finserv, Nestle India, Berger Paints, MRPL, NBCC, Cholamandalam Investment, Balkrishna Industries, Fortis Healthcare, Mahanagar Gas, V-Guard Industries, Can Fin Homes, MCX, Godfrey Phillips India, GSFC, Raymond and Balrampur Chini Mills are the entrants to the segment.

Of the 16 stocks, V-Guard Industries, Can Fin Homes, Bajaj Finserv and Raymond have surged between 40% and 55% so far this year.

Among the new entrants, Bajaj Finserv commands the highest market capitalisation of Rs 69,068 crore while Balrampur Chini has the lower market capitalisation of Rs 3571 crore.

"The market lot, scheme of strikes and quantity freeze limit of the above mentioned securities shall be informed to members on April 27, 2017 through a separate circular," the exchange said.

Currently, 188 stocks have been allowed to trade in the NSE F&O segment.
