NSE equity market turnover hits record-high at Rs 43,621 crore

MUMBAI: Top stock exchange NSE today saw record volumes in equity market trades at more than Rs 43,621 crore.

The bourse's previous high in equity market segment was Rs 41,113 crore hit on April 21 this year.

As many as 117.24 crore shares were traded on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), amounting to Rs 43,621.27 crore, a record high for a day, the bourse said.

In comparison to NSE, cash market turnover on the BSE stood at Rs 3,747.51 crore.
