NSE-BSE bulk deals: WF Asian Smaller Cos Fund cuts stake in Fortis

MUMBAI: Among key bulk deals on Monday, WF Asian Smaller Companies Fund cut its stake in hospital chain Fortis Healthcare, while HDFC Mutual Fund trimmed its exposure in Premier Explosives.

Of the frontline indices, Sensex rose 0.36 per cent to 39,757.58 points and Nifty climbed 0.23 per cent to 11,669.15 points.

>> WF Asian Smaller Companies Fund sold a total of 80,50,000 shares of Fortis Healthcare. The fund held 4.38 per cent stake in the company at the end of September.

>> HDFC Mutual Fund sold a total of 2,00,000 shares of Premier Explosives at Rs 115 per share. The fund held 7.24 per cent stake in the company at the end of September.

>> HSIL bought back 4,60,351 of its own shares from the open market at Rs 75.85 per share.

>> Zista Finvest LLP bought 1,08,000 shares of Aditya Consumer Marketing at Rs 10.02 per share.

>> Companies such as Just Dial and Siti Networks also witnessed bulk deals during the day.
