Earlier in the day, domestic equity indices scaled fresh lifetime highs as investor sentiment got a lift after Pfizer and Serum Institute applied for emergency use authorisation for their Covid-19 vaccines in India.
The 30-share BSE Sensex advanced 347.42 points or 0.77 per cent to its fresh closing peak of 45,426.97, after touching a record intraday level of 45,458.92. Similarly, the broader NSE Nifty gained 97.20 points or 0.73 per cent to an all-time closing high of 13,355.75.

>> Abakkus Emerging Opportunities Fund – 1 lapped up 5,74,842 shares of Technocraft Industries at Rs 311 per share. On the other hand, DSP Emerging Stars Fund sold 6,81,455 shares at Rs 311.03 per share.
>> Malabar India Fund offloaded 10,71,621 shares of Uniply Industries at Rs 3.30 per share.
>> LTS Investment Fund bought 46,00,000 shares of Vikas Multicorp at Rs 7.60 per share. However, Vikas Garg sold 40,00,000 shares of Vikas Multicorp at Rs 7.60 per share.
>> Emerald Company Pvt Ltd bought 4,35,874 shares of Astra Microwave Products at Rs 127.24 per share.
