NSE-BSE bulk deals: CA Emerald sells 1.9% stake in SBI Life Insurance

MUMBAI: CA Emerald Investments, an affiliate of Carlyle Group, today sold 1.9 per cent stake in SBI Life Insurance to exit the company.

CA Emerald sold 19 million shares of the life insurer at Rs. 1,130 per share through multiple block deals on the BSE. Prior to the transaction, CA Emerald held 1.9 per cent stake in the company.

The stake sold by CA Emerald was lapped up by various domestic and foreign institutional investors including Morgan Stanley Asia, SBI Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, DSP Mutual Fund, and Integrated Core Strategies.


In another transaction, PGIM India Mutual Fund bought 296,323 shares of Gokaldas Exports at Rs. 218.6 apiece through a bulk deal on the National Stock Exchange.
