NSE bans trading in GMR, SRF derivatives for Friday

The National Stock Exchange has banned for the day trading in the futures and options of GMR Infrastructure, SRF, Tata Teleservices Maharashtra, JP Hydro, Essar Oil, IFCI, Rajesh Exports, Arvind Mills and Nagarjuna Fertilisers & Chemicals.

MUMBAI: The National Stock Exchange has banned for the day trading in the futures and options of GMR Infrastructure, SRF, Tata Teleservices Maharashtra, JP Hydro, Essar Oil, IFCI, Rajesh Exports, Arvind Mills and Nagarjuna Fertilisers & Chemicals.

The suspension in trade follows the derivative contracts in the underlying having crossed 95 per cent of the market-wide position limit.

The exchange has asked traders only to decrease their positions through offsetting them.
