NMDC Ltd. shares decline 2.73% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the NMDC Ltd. traded at Rs 94.55 on BSE at 01:53PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 2.73 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 62.0 and a high of Rs 139.5.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 527,217 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:53PM (IST).

The stock of NMDC Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 29072.26 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 9.91, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.05. Return on equity (ROE) was at 12.91 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 224 stocks traded in the green, while 276 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 69.65 per cent in the NMDC Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2020 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 5.35 per cent and 3.72 per cent, respectively.
