NIIT Tech, Vakrangee and 4 others climb on F&O inclusion hope
Jubilant Life Sciences rose about 1% to Rs 393.70 in early trade. The stock was later quoting almost flat at Rs 389.10. Emami advanced 1% to Rs 1,122.45.

NEW DELHI: Select stocks gained on Wednesday in anticipations they will be included in the NSE’s futures and options (F&O) segment, when the exchange reviews the segment constituents before June.
Shares of NIIT Technologies ended lower by 0.72 per cent on NSE. Vakrangee slipped 0.18 per cent. Torrent Power ended higher by 1.06 per cent. This company was scheduled to report earnings during the day.
Jubilant Life Sciences ended with losses of 0.35 per cent. The stock was later quoting almost flat at Rs 389.10. Emami ended 0.63 per cent lower.
National Stock Exchange (NSE) had announced inclusion of seven new stocks in F&O segment in February, 2016 and four stocks in November, 2015. Analysts are expecting same number of stocks might be considered this time also.
The stocks mentioned are expected to be included in the equity derivatives segment in the next round of review by NSE, said analysts at ICICI Securities, Anand Rathi and IDBI Capital.
The brokerages said that the exchange is likely to make these additions before June, ET reported.
