Nifty watch: Manaksia Aluminium, REI Six Retail among stocks that slipped over 4% intraday

NEW DELHI: The Nifty was hovering around the crucial 9,250 level on Wednesday while the Sensex turned flat after touching the 30,000 mark in early trade.

The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was trading 26.24 points higher at 29,936.46 in afternoon trade.

On the NSE, Pan India Corp (down 16.67 per cent), Raj Rayon (down 16.67 per cent), REI Six Retail (down 12.50 per cent), MVL Ltd (down 10.00 per cent), Zenith Birla (down 8.33 per cent), Northgate Com (down 7.14 per cent), Motor Gen Fin (down 4.82 per cent), JITF Infralogistics Ltd. (down 4.63 per cent), Manaksia Aluminium Company Ltd. (down 4.62 per cent), Norben Tea Exp (down 4.48 per cent), Welspun Invst (down 4.38 per cent) and Shyam Century Ferrous (down 4.29 per cent) were trading over 4 per cent down at around the same time.

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks were trading in the green, while 19 stocks were in the red.

The Nifty index was up 11.85 points at 9,249.7 in afternoon trade.

On the NSE, Gallantt Ispat, Concor, KSK Energy Vent, FCS Software, Rasoya Proteins, VKS Projects, Green Fire Agri and Shekhawati Poly hit their fresh 52-week low, while BSEL Infra, Aditya Birla Money, GTN Textiles, TN Petroproducts, Madras Fertilizers, Neuland Labs, V Mart Retail, Summit Sec, Ramky Infra, AVT Nat Prod, Gulf Oil Corp, AksharChem Ltd, Microsec Fin and Avanti Feeds touched their fresh 52-week high today.
