Nifty watch: Dilip Buildcon, Gammon Infra among stocks that rallied up to 28% intraday in Monday's session

NEW DELHI: The BSE Sensex was trading 29.74 points down at 29,432 level in the afternoon trade on Monday on account of selling in select frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Dilip Buildcon (up 8.58 per cent), Gammon Infra (up 8.79 per cent), Nahar Industrial (up 8.95 per cent), Fortis Health (up 9.03 per cent), Parsvnath Developers (up 9.12 per cent), HDIL (up 9.22 per cent), Vascon Engineer (up 9.73 per cent), Jyothy Labs (up 9.94 per cent), IOL Chemicals (up 9.96 per cent), Trigyn Tech (up 9.98 per cent), Alok Industries (up 10.34 per cent), DB Realty (up 10.39 per cent), Bhansali Engg (up 10.69 per cent), Indo Rama Synth (up 10.91 per cent), Nectar Lifesciences (up 11.54 per cent), Amrutanjan Healthcare (up 12.25 per cent), Ganesh Housing (up 14.12 per cent), RattanIndia Power (up 14.74 per cent), Ansal Prop (up 16.13 per cent), Store One Retail (up 18.49 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (up 28 per cent) rallied up to 28 per cent till 2.15 pm (IST).

In the Nifty 50 index, stocks such as GAIL (up 3.32 per cent), Grasim Industries (up 1.94 per cent), RIL (up 1.44 per cent), Dr Reddy's Labs (up 1.37 per cent), Ibull Housing Finance (up 0.94 per cent), PowerGrid (up 0.93 per cent), ITC (up 0.91 per cent) and Bank of Baroda (up 0.80 per cent) were among the top gainers around the same time.

The Nifty 50 index was down 16.10 points at 9,134.70. Among the 50 stocks, 20 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.
